Our three cottages are all beautifully decorated, well equipped and are suitable for a range of budgets. All of them have a private enclosed garden or patio.
Two of the properties – The Old Smithy and Blacksmiths Cottage are dog friendly.
There is a wonderful dog friendly pub just 150 yards from our front door called The Ship. It serves fantastic food and we can highly recommend their Sunday roasts.
There are also plenty of food options in the neighbouring village of Hunmanby and in Filey which is just 1 mile away.
We are perfectly situated to enjoy all of the gems of the popular North Yorkshire East Coast. We are a walk or a short drive from so many wonderful places including Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington, Flamborough, Sewerby, Dalby Forest, Malton, Pickering, Ravenscar, Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and many more.
What’s included with your stay?
Onsite there is free parking and free Wi-Fi.
We provide bed linen and towels. All cutlery and crockery is supplied including teapots and cafetieres in each property. There is tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits provided for your arrival. In the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap is supplied.
In Blacksmiths Cottage, we also provide logs for the first night of your stay. Additionally, there is a games and puzzle cupboard.
There is an EV charger onsite (extra charges apply).
If you are bringing dogs, we supply a dog bed, throws, food and water bowls, some treats, poo bags and an outside poo bin.

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to five guests across two charming bedrooms: one with twin beds and a larger bedroom featuring a king-size bed with an optional foldaway single bed. The luxurious bathroom boasts a roll-top bath and a separate shower, adding a touch of indulgence. Downstairs, the spacious vaulted kitchen is well-equipped and warmed by underfloor heating, ensuring a cosy atmosphere.
A separate dining room with a reading nook and a double-sided log burner connects to the inviting living room, creating a perfect space for relaxation. Outside, an enclosed patio and garden provide a lovely spot to enjoy the fresh air.

The cottage sleeps up to three guests, with a king-size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed suitable for a child. The bedroom includes a convenient en-suite shower room, making it an ideal retreat for couples or small families.
